Regional group needs backing on national scale

With regard to your recent Vox Pop (DW 11 November), to be effective, the design industry needs a single, clear voice that reflects the views of the industry nationwide, which the Design Business Association recognised when it launched its regional focus earlier this year.

The formation of the Cornish Design Forum demonstrates a natural desire for more local action, but its views should also be channelled through the DBA as the main design body if we are to avoid fragmenting the industry.
