Cotton may feel good in the morning, but try shagpile

‘Around the world, today’s discerning consumers choose cotton and recognise US cotton as the world’s leading fashion fiber [sic],’ says Cotton Council International patriotically on its website, which we browsed in connection with Hero’s project win (News, DW 11 September).

‘There is… no better start to the day than the comforting touch of a soft, absorbent cotton towel,’ the copy continues.

Well, we could think of a few others, but it depends what went on the night before, we guess.
