News 24 makes the headlines

The BBC is working with set design specialist Simon Jago and the BBC’s in-house news graphics design team to radically revamp News 24, which is set to go on air ‘by the end of the year’, according to head of presentation Mike Kavanagh.

The news channel is understood to want to update the look and feel of the set and sharpen its identity, in a bid to inject some of the ‘pizzazz’ favoured by rival Sky News.
