An illustrated tribute to Wally Olins

As a tribute to Wally Olins, who died last year, designer Jamin Galea is putting together an illustrated “Wall of Wally”.

Olins, who co-founded consultancies Wolff Olins and Saffron, died last April at the age of 83.

In tribute, Galea is planning a book of illustrations all based on a portrait of the bow-tied Olins leaning back in his chair.

Galea was given permission by Saffron and Olins’s family to use the photograph and plans to turn the illustrations into a book to give to Olins’s wife.

Helen Musselwhite, Matt Roff and Andrew Fox are among those who have contributed so far and submissions are open until the end of next month.
