RCA School of Design Work in Progress show
The Royal College of Art will open the doors to its studios next week for The School of Design Work in Progress (WIP) show.
It shows how students are working from conception to creation spotlighting work from the Design Interactions, Design Products, Global Innovation Design, Innovation Design Engineering, Service Design, and Vehicle Design courses.
The RCA says its WIP show demonstrates the school’s culture of “experimentation, innovation and debate”.
Organisers say: “Within a dynamic and vibrant environment that encourages risk, originality and diversity in thinking, students are encouraged to challenge and develop their ideologies and practice both collaboratively and independently.”
While students get to share their work and learn about each others practice visitors get a chance to see the designers of tomorrow.
School of Design Work in Progress runs from 29 January – 1 February at the RCA, Darwin Building, Kensington Campus, Kensington Gore, London SW7 2EU
