Calling all photographers. The Citibank Private Bank is looking for entries to its second annual Photography Prize. The competition is open to anyone working in the photographic medium, no distinctions are drawn between photojournalists or artists. The judging team will include Vogue picture editor Robin Muir, The Guardian art critic Adrian Searle and Serpentine Gallery director Julia Peyton-Jones. Deadline for nominations is 30 September.

Concept House 1998 is a competition inviting architects and designers to bring contemporary solutions to the design of a traditional UK estate house. The winning design will be built at the Daily Mail Ideal Home exhibition. Judges include Richard Seymour, Simon Allford, Tim Macfarlane, Amanda Levete and Patrick Bellew. The competition aims to reflect a realistic approach to combined living and working environments. Deadline is 7 September.
