Splitting from a design group can be acrimonious. Take Adam Devey Smith’s departure from Checkland Kindleysides.

The former marketing director has resurfaced with a press release launching his latest venture. It reads, ‘The working relationship between Adam, Jeff Kindleysides and David Checkland became unworkable following fundamental disagreements about direction and management of the business, “which made it impossible for me to be positive about the future at CK,” says Devey Smith.’

Words like ‘dirty’, ‘linen’ and ‘public’ spring to mind. Oh, the name of Devey Smith’s group? Easytiger Associates. Meeeow.
