Jowell announces shake-up in creative industries

Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell announced the re-organisation of a number of ministerial responsibilities for the creative industries last week, following the General Election. David Lammy becomes Minister for Culture with responsibility for museums and galleries, the arts, libraries and heritage, while James Purnell has become the minister for broadcasting, tourism and the creative industries.
