Exhibitions

Work by James Hutchinson and Lynne Marsh is exhibited at New Digital Work from 25 November until 10 January 1999. Hutchinson’s work focuses on urban and rural landscape. Marsh’s video narrative transforms the cowgirl archetype into the character of a futuristic frontier woman.

Carte Blanche features a selection of furniture and accessories celebrating pure white forms from 26 November until 14 January 1999. The exhibition features work including a foam vase by Jam and luminous furniture by Maiko Tsutsumi.

Apple Expo, which runs from 25-28 November, shows new Apple computers including the iMac and G3 Powerbook. Total Design Technology runs alongside the exhibition and offers professionals the chance to compare the latest creative solutions.

The second international political cartoon exhibition The Great Challenge takes a satirical look at politics in the 1990s. Cartoonists from 33 countries including Ralph Steadman, Steve Bell and the Greek cartoonist Kostas Mitropoulos (Radio Announcer, shown above) will show work. The exhibition runs until 23 December.
