Support of SBC scheme

London’s South Bank Centre is claiming widespread support for its draft redevelopment architectural masterplan, following a public consultation exercise.

SBC chief executive Karsten Witt says it is too early to start thinking about design work, in contrast to the British Film Institute, which is opening a film centre on the Hungerford site and is already seeking designers.
