Waller creates Fusion with the back of a bus

Luvvie Hugh Grant provided unlikely inspiration for designer Martin Waller, managing director of furniture and fabric house Andrew Martin.

To spread the interior design word to the people on the street, he has recreated the scenario depicted in Notting Hill, where Grant’s character spots a photo of Julia Roberts’ film star on the back of a London bus. Waller chose to advertise his new book, Fusion Interiors, in a similar fashion.

‘The idea came to me while watching the film. I decided that it’s a really good way to reach people,’ he says.

Perhaps someone should tell him that it’s only a film.
