Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is relaunching his Italian-inspired food range with a revamped design by The Plant.
The portfolio of 18 products includes pasta sauce, pesto, antipasti, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a range of herb rubs and flavoured grinders.
The redesigned packaging features a simple and more ‘personal’ design with key ingredient qualities highlighted on-pack, according to Jade Terry, project manager at The Plant. The items will launch in Sainsbury’s outlets on 29 October. The Plant is also designing Jamie Oliver’s forthcoming cookbook, published by Penguin. The recipes will reportedly be based on cooking with ingredients from Oliver’s garden.
Previously, the consultancy designed packaging for a range of olive oils and wines used and sold at Oliver’s Fifteen restaurants.
