Cambridge group cuts its teeth on ice

NEW Cambridge consultancy Maitland Myhill has created its debut corporate identity – a new marque for a manufacturer of refrigerated vans.

The consultancy approached Somers with the idea of a logo redesign. The identity launches this week featuring the image of an ice king as “an authority symbol intended to create ownership of the refrigerated proposition with a distinctive campaigning symbol”, says marketing director John Maitland. The group is also working on new-product development of drinks which should come to fruition before Christmas, Maitland adds.

Maitland Myhill was formed after John Maitland and Jane Myhill left Precept earlier this summer (DW 16 August).
