The 22 000m2 Moscone III convention centre is the second addition to San Francisco’s convention centre, the first phase of which was designed by HOK. Gensler and DMJM were together responsible for Moscone II.

Gensler is working with architects Michael Willis & Associates, and Kwan Henmi on the centre. Construction is due to start in January 1998.

Gensler is also converting a disused warehouse into the new headquarters for broadcasting company QVC in Pennsylvania.
