Pyott Design creates new in-flight brochure for Concorde

Pyott Design has created an in-flight retail brochure for Concorde, its client of three years, to reflect the new image of British Airways’ flagship passenger craft for the 21st century.

The publication, scheduled to be launched yesterday, features a range of gifts aimed at Concorde travellers. It employs a futuristic outlook while maintaining the existing Concorde heritage.

Pyott managing and creative director James Pyott says ‘The whole concept for this brochure was about creating graphic art-directed shots and abstract shapes, embossed into latex rubber to create an intriguing and mystical set of images.’

BA in-flight retail marketing manager Sabine Sharman says there has been a shift in emphasis, including a change in format from portrait to landscape.

‘We have taken it into the 21st century using 21st century fabrics to formulate a style, rather than a theme which we used previously. It is like looking through an art gallery. I hope it becomes a coffee table piece,’ she adds.
