Opening of Herron Gallery

University of East London School of Architecture opens its new gallery this week, named after and instigated by Ron Herron, the school’s head who died last year (DW 7 October 1994).

The new Herron Gallery, at the school’s Holbrook Road building, is designed by two of the school’s tutors, Aaron Davies and Chris Thurlbourne.The inaugural exhibition focuses on design drawings from architects including Future Systems and Zaha Hadid.
