Setting the record straight on XMPR

We refer to the news item headed: XMPR founder heads for Italy (DW 20 January).

We would like to put the record straight and to correct any misunderstanding that the headline may have created. Martin Campbell Davies was not a founder member of XMPR, he was an associate director and one of the 19 employees taken on when the company started in 1990.

While Martin will be missed by us all, his departure represents no more than a natural process of renewal within our company while fulfilling a long-standing ambition of his, to progress his career within a client organisation and in an overseas market.

As we have directly communicated to many clients, his replacement has been carefully planned and a new appointment is to be announced shortly.
