I have received, from the Centre for Creative Business, an invitation to a panel discussion on 7 February, at the Royal Society of Arts, on ‘How UK business can use design to stay ahead of the global game’. The title given is ‘Design, or Die’ (with a champagne reception to follow).
In the context of a world where hundreds of thousands of people are dying, as a result of drought, starvation, Aids and exposure, am I the only designer who finds this title gross, crude and offensive?
