The Royal Automobile Club’s annual report features the company’s new corporate identity, designed by North, for the first time. This is Grandfield’s third RAC annual report, its first one as the merged group McBride’s & Grandfield Design. Photography was by William Webster. Meanwhile, McBride’s & Grandfield has also designed support material for the proposed demerger, following the announcement to sell off the motoring services arm. The consultancy is now working on print material for the next extraordinary general meeting on 5 August.

Cordiant Communications Group has posted a pre-tax profit of 34.6m for the financial year of 1997. The results follow the demerger in December into Cordiant and Saatchi & Saatchi. Cordiant’s design interests include event and exhibition group HP:ICM and a 30 per cent stake in The Facilities Group, of which Sector Light Design is a part. The annual report (detail shown above) was designed by The Facilities Group.
