Dew Gibbons wraps up deal with Swiss confectioner Lindt


Dew Gibbons has been appointed to work on brand development and packaging projects for Swiss chocolate and confectionery brand Lindt.

The consultancy was appointed to the work last month following a three-way paid pitch in March, according to Dew Gibbons marketing manager Michelle Anderson.

The consultancy has been appointed by Lindt brand owner Lindt and Sprüngli to work on the Lindt UK business. Anderson says this will be an ongoing contract.

The consultancy will work on brand development and packaging projects for the UK market as part of the contract.

The consultancy says, ’Dew Gibbons will be retained as part of a loop team to help Lindt fulfil ambitious growth targets within the UK market.’

Dew Gibbons says the total value of UK chocolate sales which stands at £3.1bn increased by 6.3 per cent in 2009-10, while the premium market increased by 11 per cent in the same period.
