BDG interiors from Heron
BDG McColl has been appointed by Heron International to design interiors and graphics for the group’s new retail and leisure development in Brussels. The consultancy won a paid creative pitch for the work following an initial credentials presentation.
Heron City Brussels is due to open in 2002, consisting of shops, restaurants, bars, a health club and an entertainment complex. It will occupy 30 000m2 over several floors. It follows Heron City Madrid, which opened last December and was designed by Fitch.
BDG McColl spokesperson says: “Situated on the city’s popular Avenue Toison DÃor, the complex has been designed by Brussels-based architect Jaspers. We have created the interiors and graphics to ensure Heron’s desire for an environment that is always entertaining’ will be fulfilled.”
Future plans for Heron International include the opening of new developments in Lille, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Barcelona and Lisbon.
