Frayling birthday celebration takes priority over DWA

There’s no fear of forgetting birthdays in the Frayling family, because both RCA rector Professor Christopher Frayling and his brother were born on distinctive days. This interesting fact came to light last week when the professor, who was born on Christmas Day, was invited to the Design Week Awards on 29 February, but had to decline. Why? He would be otherwise engaged, taking the rare opportunity to celebrate his brother’s birthday.
