Springpoint is continuing to expand its management team with the appointment of a director of brand strategy, Giles Lury. The appointment comes just four weeks after the consultancy signed former BA design supremo Chris Holt as consultant director.
Lury, formerly director of communications for brand strategy group The Value Engineers was also director in charge of the Unilever account at ad agency JWT.
He brings with him experience of clients such as Hasbro, BSkyB and Heineken.
“It was Springpoint’s real commitment to innovation that convinced me to come,” says Lury, who has worked with the consultancy on previous occasions.
“We are in the midst of a marketing revolution at the moment and I am looking forward to working with [Springpoint] to develop the intellectual capital that our clients like Vodafone, Hong Kong Airport and Siliconwharf look to us for,” says Lury.
