Development, housing and contracting company The Miller Group has launched a new corporate identity, created by Navy Blue.
“The challenge was to reflect the core values of The Miller Group but to ensure the design was flexible enough to adapt and reflect the autonomous and individual nature of the divisions within the group,” says Navy Blue managing director Douglas Alexander.
The group undertook a research project to identify how the company was perceived both internally and externally.
The following brief aimed to position the company as “an ambitious, innovative, successful, solutions-driven, UK business”, says Alexander.
The resulting identity is based on a number of typefaces, redrawn to form a unique logotype, with a “swoosh” added to the “i” to represent inspiration.
The new identity will be rolled out to stationery, vehicle liveries and multimedia materials.
