Attik to open New York office

Huddersfield-based Attik Design – which opened a branch office in London last year – is planning expansion to New York.

“The success of Noise [a self-promotional book by Attik] has opened doors for us in the film and television graphics areas in the US,” says Attik account director William Travis.

Travis and Attik’s joint founding directors James Sommerville and Simon Needham will search for office accommodation and meet potential clients in New York next month.

Travis will “probably lead the New York office to start with”, and he expects to expand and work in all areas of typography.
