Nottingham rejects identities on offer

The Nottingham Partnership Forum, due to select a group last week to create the city’s corporate identity, has rejected all the designs presented.

Participants in the paid creative pitch were PR Principles, Chase Hill, Fishburn Hedges, The Chase and Nottingham City Council’s in-house team (DW 19 April).

“We did not feel the designs adequately represented the range of things we wanted to communicate about Nottingham,” says Alastair Eperon, chairman of the forum’s image working party.

The forum is under local pressure to make a decision soon and it is believed that Fishburn Hedges was asked to submit further work, due to be considered at a meeting this week.
