Blue Design has completed the brand identity for a forthcoming electric egg boiler called Yoki, designed by product design group Oink.
Blue Design was appointed without a pitch in June to name and brand Yoki, which will be rolled out next Easter. The aim is to capture the light-heartedness of the innovative egg boiler, which comes with ‘accessories’, including ‘egg-cup-hats’ such as the Viking and the Bobble Hat.
‘The brand identity catches the wit and humour of the product,’ says Blue Design partner Chris Goddard. Blue Design will also create the retail packaging and communication collateral for the product’s UK launch for Easter 2007.
