High-flying consumers on Concorde will have to resist new in-flight sales brochures, designed by Pyott, from next week. Focusing on the luxurious nature of the products available, the Objects of Desire brochure gives a full page to each product or range. Research into the previous catalogue by Davies Baron showed that Concorde travellers preferred expensive items on uncrowded pages.>

Flying Dutchman Dennis Bergkamp and ‘Ruud boy’ Ruud Gullit were, earlier this week, the first two football stars to be used in a series of ads promoting Channel 5’s coverage of the Chelsea vs Slovan Bratislava and Arsenal vs PAOK Salonika matches. Graphics group Mother – which has been working for the channel since its launch in March – designed the ads. Having acquired the rights for Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa European home games, the TV channel is ‘actively on the look out to gain coverage for matches with other teams’, says a Channel 5 spokesman, who confirms that Mother will design all other campaigns.
