South African group KSDP Pentagraph has designed global packaging graphics for Fanta. The pack has launched in Thailand, and will appear in South Africa, Germany, Korea and Spain before rolling out worldwide.
The UK is given “a unique status,” says a spokesman for the brand. This country is not included in the relaunch due to local packaging by Leagas Delaney launched in April.
As the world’s number three soft drink after Coca-Cola and Pepsi, the packaging “was developed with teenage consumers world wide”, says Sharon Keith, Fanta’s marketing manager in South Africa.
