Magazine for the ministry

Nightclub group Ministry of Sound has teamed up with Dennis Publishing to produce a new monthly magazine for the clubbed-up generation. It will launch on 4 December.

The magazine has been designed in-house by Ministry of Sound creative director Scott Parker, who has previously worked on album artwork and merchandise for the company.

“The magazine is concerned not just with clubbing in itself, but as a way of life. We want it to have a lively feel, but it is a commercial project so it won’t be too underground in style,” says Parker.

Ministry of Sound owns the eponymous nightclub, record-label and clothing range and is one of the most successful youth brands of the 1990s. It is in talks with First Leisure which wants to use its name for a high class chain of nightclubs.
