RSA has long record of encouraging design

Your report on the recent Nesta consultation (DW 19 September) made no mention of the fact that the event was organised by the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce and held at the RSA headquarters.

Our record of encouraging enterprise and creativity anticipated the Government’s recognition of the vital contribution of human creativity to this country’s future economic success by nearly 250 years.

We now have a summary of the proceedings. If Design Week readers would like a copy of this report (price 3 including p&p) then please call Veronique Renard at the RSA, on: 0171-930 5115.
