CGI BrandSense cracks down on Payback identity

CGI BrandSense has created the identity for Operation Payback, an initiative launched last Friday.

The campaign, which aims to recover cash and assets from London’s criminals, is a joint project between the Metropolitan Police, HM Customs and Excise, British Transport Police and City of London Police.

CGI BrandSense was briefed to design a logo for use on all promotional material, according to marketing manager Tom Adeney. The work will eventually be applied to posters, leaflets, display stands, badges, stickers and franking plates for envelopes, he says.

The marque features the eyes of Sir John Houblon, the first governor of the Bank of England and gatekeeper of the HM Treasury as he appears on £50 notes.

CGI BrandSense was appointed to the project on the basis of its previous work for the Metropolitan Police.
