D&P idea stored by River Island

Dalziel & Pow is designing a 1300m2 Oxford Street flagship store for fashion brand River Island, which is scheduled to open on 8 November.

The site includes what is billed as one of London’s largest facia windows. Details of the brief remain under wraps, but a River Island spokeswoman promises it will showcase ‘an eclectic combination of retro style and contemporary materials including granite, limestone, marble and glass’.

Dalziel & Pow design team leader Marcus King would not comment on the creative work.
