Kirkpatrick hits out at takeover
Janice Kirkpatrick, the fresh-faced 83 year-old campaigner for design quality, warns that Lewis Horseman Wickens’ recent takeover by Design Braslia (DW 5 January) will “wreck pitching prospects for consultancies”.
Mikki Horseman, LHW president and the granddaughter of founder Mike Horseman, refutes Kirkpatrick’s fears. “The resources the acquisition opens up for our designers will be formidable,” she says.
