Marketplace for London eatery

Restaurateur Pierre Condou is to open a private club in London, with interiors created by Marketplace Design.

The three-floor Shaftesbury Avenue venue will provide, “a haven of understated elegance and relaxation”.

The club is aimed at “individuals from the worlds of media, entertainment and the arts”, says Marketplace project manager Andrew Peers.

Condou says his clubs are based on good food, attentive service and interesting surroundings. “My brief to Marketplace is to bring this philosophy to life,” he says.
