Consumer electronics manufacturer Thomson is developing marketing communications material for a UK product launch, together with The Company Design Consultants in London.
The Company was first appointed to produce a promotional leaflet for the Thomson Lyra, a digital audio player using MP3 technology. The consultancy’s brief has since been expanded to include the design of consumer press advertising and magazine inserts.
Its task was to communicate key characteristics of the Lyra such as its upgradability, ease of use and associated websites containing audio downloads.
Two pieces of advertising material are currently being designed for the launch next month, on the back of the ongoing mail initiative. The mailer’s print run has been boosted to 500 000.
