Ergo adds value to health product

Europe’s leading producer of thermal health and beauty products has introduced a range to stave off competition from Asia and the US. Design and product innovation is by Ergo in conjunction with manufacturer Oscar & Dehn.

Oscar & Dehn has launched a thermal pack range into Boots using the Mr Bump character. The children’s packs follow on from Breast Nurse, “a soothing pack for nursing mothers”, says Ergo strategic partner Stuart Mackay.

“Competitors from Asia and the US have similar thermal technology but lack the innovation and originality to add real value to their product,” according to Mackay. “Ergo worked in collaboration with Oscar & Dehn to put creativity at the centre of their business plan,” he says.

Ergo was set up in 1996 as a creative brand development consultancy by Mackay and partner Simon John, formerly with The Identica Partnership and Coley Porter Bell respectively.
