The Tate might introduce a new identity following a review of the gallery’s marque by Wolff Olins.
The Tate is building two new galleries. ‘We need now to look at our communications’, says communications director Damien Whitmore.
The current identity by Pentagram ‘has been incredibly successful’, says Whitmore. ‘We may go back to Pentagram to move the identity on, or get a new identity,’ he adds.
Wolff Olins’ report is due out in mid-October.
