Moving Brands has created a moving identity sequence for Telewest Broadband broadcasts, which airs on 7 January.
The consultancy has worked with the existing Telewest Broadband identity, created by North in November. It will first be seen in Scotland and northern England.
North created the identity to perform across all platforms. Telewest Communications has rebranded its franchises Telewest Broadband.
‘We wanted to build on North’s concept of the brand marque as a fibre optic cable. The end sequence is vibrant, bursting towards the viewer and reinforcing the strong “live life in Broadband” positioning statement of Telewest Broadband,’ says Moving Brands creative director Ben Wolstenholme.
The sequence comes in four versions and will be primarily used for advertising.
The consultancy was appointed in December last year as part of the pitch for the creation of the identity. North, which asked Moving Brands to be part of its pitch, beat Wolff Olins and Saatchi & Saatchi Design.
