A new full service design group has been set up in London by a breakaway duo from below-the-line agency CCB.

Andy Sallis and Tim Nolan, who both left the agency last month, have formed Asylum Design to offer corporate identity, brand development, literature design, direct mail, point-of-sale and packaging design.

The group hopes to become “a major force in British design throughout Europe within five years”, says Sallis, with a staff of five by 1998.

Asylum is currently designing a welcome pack for an unnamed mobile telecommunications supplier based in Munich.
