A stainless steel dash-mounted cup inspired by an aircraft wing has won Saab’s undergraduate product and furniture design competition at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. The winning ‘wing cup’ team – made up of second year students Kate Brunker, Jin Sang Hwang, Adam Prior and Plum Thongcharoen, who share prize money worth £2000 – are hoping to take the design into production. The entries were judged last week.
