Ducati 2000, At Home with Art, Zaha Hadid.

Ducati 2000 – an icon for the century spans five decades of innovative design and technology from 22 July until 16 September. Highlighting Ducati’s major achievements, from the success of the early Cucciolo micro-engine to the SBK Fogarty World Championship 996 motorcycle of the 1990s.

Venue: University Gallery, University of Northumbria, Sandyford Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne NE1 8ST.

At Home with Art continues to show from 23 July until 10 September. Nine artists, including Anthony Gormley and Anish Kapoor, were invited to create a prototype of an object for the home which could be reproduced and sold at Homebase stores across the UK.

The first major exhibition of work by Iraqi-born architect Zaha Hadid shows from 22 July until 10 September. The exhibition reveals how Hadid imagines city life and public spaces from Madrid to Qatar, exploring her working process in the form of a private archive made public.
