Razorfish has promoted Matt Woolf to the new position of director of emerging media for the UK.
Identifying future media opportunities which offer high growth potential will be the basis of Woolf’s new role. He says it will require advising clients on the relevance of new and emerging technology such as Bluetooth to their own strategy. “The role requires me to ask questions like: ‘Are you missing out on WAP?’ If you don’t know the answer then you probably are,” he adds.
Razorfish managing director Mike Beeston says, “As more and more companies start to look for the next WAP, this role will enable Razorfish to continue to invent and re-invent.
“It is vital to have someone heading this division who can offer our clients the early-mover advantage that has proved so important in these new markets.”
