Sweater shop plumps for JHP

The Sweater Shop has appointed John Herbert Partnership to revamp its stores. The consultancy will review interiors and architectural elements for the project, which trials in August.

James Dracup, managing director of The Sweater Shop, says that new store facias do not form part of JHP’s brief, but that the retailer “will have to consider everything”.

The aim is for the 73 stores to be “friendly and easy to shop in”, while focusing on core customers.

The project was awarded without a pitch.
