Bonner’s backers make sure that the truth is told

We are sad and disappointed to see our partner and friend Mark Bonner being hurt by your recent article on work/life balance and the subsequent personal attack on the letters page (DW 6 March).

He has been, as is his way, open and honest in his remarks and has found himself fighting in the ugly corner of an artificially created and weak comparison of just two individuals.

We’d like to put the record straight. Mark is a lovely guy who has become a lovely dad. Having known him for over ten years we have been amazed at the positive effects family life has had on him.

Sure he works hard and is dedicated to making our company a success, but he is generous to a fault with his time for others, both in and out of work. Leave him alone, he’s got the balance as right as any of us in this industry have.

Mind you, being a balanced and family-oriented guy is one thing, trying to get him to put the kettle on is quite another.
