Further store for Jimmy Choo

Exclusive US shoe retailer Jimmy Choo is to open a third store, in Las Vegas, created by a UK design team.

London consultancy Association of Ideas has developed the concept for the store. The consultancy commissioned special furniture, including an armoire and an escritoire, from a Leicestershire joinery firm.

Mens shoes are displayed in a purple crocodile skin-covered portmanteau.

The Las Vegas store is situated in the recently opened 3000-room Venetian Hotel, and follows stores in Beverly Hills and New York. It will open at the end of this month.

“A Jimmy Choo client wants a relaxed and discreet environment in which to make her choice,” says Association of Ideas director Jonathan Lovett.
