Blast has created the brochure for the BBC Philharmonic’s 2004/2005 season. According to consultancy associate director Paul Tunnicliffe, photographer Sanjay Kalideen’s night-time, long-exposure images reflect the orchestra’s ‘passionate performances’, as well as its ‘urban, contemporary’ setting. The London group is also designing posters and a leaflet for the upcoming season, which kicks off on 1 October at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall.
The redesign aims to attract “new, younger and more culturally diverse audiences” to the 118-year-old magazine, while avoiding confusion with The Times newspaper.
