Congratulations to Leicester-based design consultancy Ratcliffe Fowler Design. The group is celebrating its tenth anniversary with hoards of gifts for its most loved patrons. It’s hard to say whether it was the miniature iced cake that won the battle for our hearts and minds, or its deftly drawn cartoon picture book for kids of all ages, which relives the crazy events that have shaped this merry band. It’s so nice when ‘visual’ types actually write something funny and then bother to run the spellchecker.
The updated visual identity, including a logo and campaign, looks to “reposition the educational charity verbally and put it back on the map visually”.
This year’s results follows a downward trend in popularity for creative subjects both at schools and universities.
The latest announcements also include a “multi-sensory” exhibition inspired by the sea at Oxo Tower Wharf.
