BBC One’s new natural history series Wildlife Specials, has a black and white title sequence. Designed by Rebecca Harris of BBC Bristol’s graphic design department, the sequence features animals from the series as ‘true stars of the silver screen’. Footage includes polar bears, crocodiles, leopards, eagles, humpback wales and wolves. The first of the six-part series goes out on 26 November at 8pm.

Australian department store David Jones is celebrating its 70th birthday with this window display created by local group Cato Design. The designs are intended to be highly visible, yet simple, sophisticated and sympathetic to the building’s heritage. They include faces of 134 women of all ages, taken from the 70-year period since the Sydney store opened, and a five-storey birthday banner.
