Virgin hits the Internet

Virgin Megastore will be the first part of the Virgin empire to go fully on-line in January, when its entire catalogue of music, books and videos will become available for purchase on the Internet.

Websites for the service will be developed in-house by Virgin Net. Chairman Richard Branson this week revealed plans for all Virgin product ranges to be eventually available over the Internet.
